Holds a PhD and MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Systems area at Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP). Post-Doctoral fellow at USP's Polytechnic School concerning Cognitive Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities. Specialized in Distance Education and Mobile Learning at Paulista University (UNIP). Currently is Professor in Embedded Systems at Anhembi Morumbi University (UAM) and USP. Reviewer of IEEE Sensors, Springer NCAA, Autosoft and IGI Global Journals. TPC member in more than 25 Conferences/Congress. Expertise in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, WSN, IoT and IT. Worked as Team Coordinator at National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL). Author of Book entitled "3G Performance and Security", VDM Verlag/Germany. Author of Chapter "IoT Framework Based on WSN Infrastructure with Different Topological Distributions", from book "The Internet of Things - Foundation for Smart Cities, eHealth and Ubiquitous Computing", CRC Press/USA.
