Santiago has been an Oracle Engineer for about 10 years, and a few more with Sun Microsystems before that. He has worked in areas related to XML, Binary XML, Web Services, REST and now Microservices. He is the technical lead for Jakarta RESTful Web Services (formerly JAX-RS) and has worked in this area for many years. He's now a member of Project Helidon, which continues to deliver on the promise of the Microprofile and Jakarta EE. Santiago is based in Weston, FL.
