I am a Ph.D. researcher at LAAS-CNRS, France, since 2019. I work for the European project ETN-SAS in the domain of autonomous vehicles (AV). Before it, I graduated in Computer Science at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (2014), and obtained a master?s degree in Systems Engineering and Computing at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2018), working with machine learning (ML) applied to dynamic environments. Currently, I apply several techniques (statistics, ML, and software engineering) to ensure safe decisions of ML-based perception tasks of AV at runtime.
