Mary is a Senior Developer Advocate and Software Engineer primarily in the Java and Open Source areas at IBM. She transitioned from Unix/C to Java around 2000 and has never looked back since then. She considers herself as a polyglot and loves to continue learning new and better ways of solving real-life problems. She is an active tech community organizer outside of her day job, and currently the president of the Chicago Java Users Group (CJUG).

As founder of the Keep Calm and Refactor project I help Java developers get their unruly code under control so they can work on fun and rewarding projects.

Víctor is a software engineer living in Guatemala City. Java Champion, OAS scholarships alumni, holder of a Msc. degree in Computer Science, OCA, OCP Java certifications and current CTO of Nabenik, with 10 years of experience in the Java Enterprise sector as college professor, developer and software architect.

Elder helps Java developers to work on great projects by guiding them on how to build and deliver fast and available server-side applications. He is a Java Champion, the author of the ?Jakarta EE Cookbook?, and a board member at SouJava, one of the biggest JUGs in the world. Heather VanCura in the director and chairperson of the Java Community Process (JCP) program. In her role she is responsible for leadership of the community. In this role she also serves as an international speaker, mentor, and leader or hack days. VanCura oversees the work of the JCP executive committee, the JCP.org web site, JSR management, community building, events, communications, & growth of the membership. She is also a contributor and leader of the community-driven user group adoption programs. Heather is based in California and is passionate about Java, developer communities. She enjoys trying new sports and fitness activities in her free time.

Kito D. Mann is the Principal Consultant at Virtua, Inc. (http://virtua.tech), specializing in enterprise application architecture, training, development, and mentoring with Web Components, Angular, and Jakarta/Java EE technologies. He is also the co-host of the Stacked Podcast (http://stackdpodcast.com), and the author of JavaServer Faces in Action (Manning). Mann has participated in several Java Community Process expert groups (including CDI, JSF, and Portlets) and is an internationally recognized speaker. He is also a Java Champion and Google Developer Expert in Web Technologies. He holds a BA in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, Larissa is also a worldwide speaker on Quality and Agile, primarily focused on delivering value to the customer by using Lean Digital Transformation and Agile Engineering.
Larissa holds a Law degree and a specialization in Software Engineering and she is a certified PMP by PMI, ITIL Foundation by EXIN, Certified SAFEe 5 Lean Portfolio Manager, and PSM I by Scrum.org, and has the IT Specialist Level 2 - Test Discipline Badge and Design Thinking Co-Creator Badge from IBM.

Tetiana Fydorenchyk is currently handling Global Product Marketing at Virtuozzo, virtualization and hyperconverged software leader. A former Vice President of Marketing in Jelastic, a multi-cloud PaaS provider serving developers and hosting companies around the world. Producing articles on tech and business topics connected with cloud computing, containers, DevOps, microservices, multi-cloud, Java and others. Actively organizes and participates at targeted online conferences, partners and users webinars. Involved in Java developers community growth being Jakarta EE Working Group Marketing Committee and participating in MicroProfile Working Group.
